Students come to The University of Texas at Austin with dreams of graduating and starting their careers, but some come very close to that goal with no way to reach it. That’s where Completion Scholarships come in.
Completion Scholarships are awarded to students who are at risk of not graduating because of unmet financial need. These scholarships allow students to pay for the final course they need to cross the finish line or help them get back on track for a timely graduation.
The Student Success Excellence Fund supports all areas of Student Success Initiatives, helping to ensure all students have access to the resources and tools they need to stay on track to graduate in a timely manner and achieve their dream of earning a degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
Formerly known as Presidential Scholars, Texas Excellence awards incoming students with excellent academic credentials and demonstrated financial need a scholarship of up to $20,000 (up to $5,000 per year over four years). Texas Excellence scholarship recipients receive support from a designated program coordinator, who regularly reviews students’ progress toward their degree and refers them to academic and personal support resources, such as academic advising and tutoring services.
The University Leadership Network (ULN) is a nationally recognized incentive-based scholarship program for students with demonstrated financial need, providing up to $20,000 (up to $5,000 per year over four years) in incentive-based scholarship funds to more than 1,500 students each year. ULN offers four years of comprehensive programming, helping students plan, prepare, implement, and execute their goal of receiving a degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
