Student Success Initiatives (SSI) is very pleased to share recent publications both about SSI programs and authored by SSI staff.
Every Student Graduates provides a detailed account of SSI’s programs, how each initiative was implemented, the results the university has achieved as a result, and SSI’s plans for continued improvement in UT Austin’s undergraduate persistence and four-year graduation rates.
When Your College Has Your Back, a New York Times opinion editorial by the University of California, Berkeley’s David L. Kirp, examines four-year graduation rate trends across the country and the steps UT Austin has taken to support students on their path to an on-time graduation.
Improving Success for Students with Multiple Risk Factors is a chapter authored by several SSI staff members in Robert S. Feldman’s The First Year of College: Research, Theory, and Practice on Improving the Student Experience and Increasing Retention. It also highlights SSI’s strategies for improving undergraduate persistence and four-year graduation rates.
And four students in SSI programs recently were featured in the American Talent Initiative’s #ActivateTalent campaign. Pictured above from left to right are:
